The Swedish-Norwegian artist grew up in Japan, and says that this is one of her sources of inspiration. Her art is inspired by the Scandinavian nature and Japan, but also folklore and the early 1900s. An artistic leap we can’t wait to see SÅ!

Maria Ledstam
Maria Ledstam is a warm, well-considered and reflective person who will speak at Sunday’s closing service.
Sub Church had the pleasure of fellowship with Maria and her family during the time she was working on her phD in ethics at MF in Oslo. Now they have returned to the other side of the border, living in Ørebro, where she works as a teacher in ethics, diaconia and theology at ALT (Akademi för Ledarskap och Teologi).
We take it as a great compliment that she will prioritize time at SÅ, when we believe that she thinks that life is perhaps the best in the beautiful “sommarstuga” in the Swedish countryside.
Seminar: «To improvise the truth»
How can we live good lives in an unpredictable world? With artificial intelligence in rapid development and the increasing influence of social media, we are today faced with completely new questions about what it means to live well together and how we can distinguish between good and evil.
In this seminar we will explore how we as believers can approach the complexity of the ethical questions of our time by improvising the truth. Improvisation in this context is not about finding truths, but about navigating creatively and responsibly in the often unpredictable and complex situations that arise in life. We will also explore the concept of phronesis, or practical wisdom, which is central to making wise choices when fixed rules are not enough.
