Svenske Holy Ship er tilbake til SÅ2024 med det rykende ferske albumet “Beyond Frames”, en deilig blanding drømme-indie-pop. En rød tråd på albumet er hvordan livene våre formes til prisen av kunstnerisk, mental og åndelig frihet. Som hånd i hanske med årets festivaltema hvor vi reflekterer over og søker Sannheten.

Holy Ship er skapt i kjølvannet av Jonathans Wesths forrige band Blackstrap (Tee Pee Records, V2 Records), for å omfavne og håndtere eksistensielle refleksjoner i et kreativt frirom. Holy Ship har tidligere gitt ut tre EPer, og har blitt hyllet verden over av blant annet KEXP Radio i Seattle, USA, og den legendariske tyske radiopersonligheten Klaus Fiehe på 1Live.

Swedish Holy Ship returns to SÅ with the brand new album “Beyond Frames”. The album offers a massive mix of the best from atmospheric dream pop and indie, and as a common thread through the album’s songs, the complex theme of how our lives are shaped at the price of artistic, mental and spiritual freedom is described. In the wake of Westh’s previous band Blackstrap (Tee Pee Records, V2 Records), Holy Ship was created as a project to embrace and deal with existential reflections combined with the need for a creative free zone. Holy Ship has previously released three EPs, and has been praised worldwide by, among others, KEXP Radio in Seattle, USA, and the legendary German radio personality Klaus Fiehe on 1Live.
